Traditional steering links use a right hand thread/left hand thread combinations. Poison Spyder's HD steering system is built as a left hand thread/left hand thread component- for a reason. When using a left/left thread setup a steering link can not be knocked out of adjustment. In contrast a right/left thread setup can be knocked out of adjustment, and if unnoticed, fall apart.
Alignment becomes a bit more entailed with a left/left thread steering link. It requires that one end is unbolted, removed from its mounting location and then adjust the steering link. Regardless, an alignment within factory tolerances can be achieved. |
