One of the most common trail afflictions for the modern Jeeper is the failure of steering components. Poison Spyder HD parts enhance and strengthen current factory design to help prevent an off road hardship.
HD Tie Rod :
The HD Tie Rod is constructed from 1.5" 3/8 wall DOM tubing, notched front and back to easily grasp link. Machined for 22mm left hand tie rods only. Tie Rod comes powder coated black and with two jam nuts and grease zerk cap.
HD Sleeve:
HD Sleeve is machined form 1.5" .250 wall DOM tubing and notched for easy adjustment. Fits factory tie rod & drag link. Sleeve comes powder coated black and with two jam nuts.
HD Drag Link Gusset:
HD Gusset is cut from 1/4" last plate mild steel. It is designed to support factory drag link at it's vulnerable elbow. Comes raw steel and is a weld on component.

Traditional steering links use a right hand thread/left hand thread combinations. Poison Spyder's HD steering system is built as a left hand thread/left hand thread component- for a reason. When using a left/left thread setup a steering link can not be knocked out of adjustment. In contrast a right/left thread setup can be knocked out of adjustment, and if unnoticed, fall apart.

Alignment becomes a bit more entailed with a left/left thread steering link. It requires that one end is unbolted, removed from its mounting location and then adjust the steering link. Regardless, an alignment within factory tolerances can be achieved.
