Bruisers can be found conquering diverse terrain from rocks, sand, mud and snow. CLICK here to see a collage of Bruisers traversing from the Rocky mountains, the mud of the South too the high desserts of the west.
Chassis is crafted from a combination of .120 and .134, 1.75" OD DOM tubing. The Bruiser comes completely welded with winch plate, rockers and coilover mounts. All other elements for completing your chassis can be acquired separately or built into your Bruiser by Poison Spyder.
Bruiser Chassis are incorporated with large interiors, head room and a cab you can really stretch out in. Seat location is lower and reclined giving you a low center of gravity and a sports car feel. Very untypical of most production or off-road committed vehicles. Chassis also has excellent storage capability, with both a rear storage compartment and cargo netting is available.
Bruisers allow for different wheelbase and tire combinations. The two seater version can be set from 100" to 106" wheelbase. 37" to 44" tires are both esthetically and functionally the best choices to match the chassis design. The Bruiser weighs in at 525lbs in its base form, and in typical completion weighs 3700 to 4300 lbs.
Bruiser Chassis comes with upper coilover suspension mounts built-in. Making this suspension type an easy installation when using coilovers. A wheel mounting surface measurement of no narrower than 62" is required to utilize these mounts. The chassis main rail measurement of 34.25" allows the use of leaf spring, coil, airbag or ¼ eliptic suspensions. However Poison Spyder does not manufacture provisions for these suspension types. They must be fabricated by the builder.
Bruiser body panels are available to complete this off-road machines signature look. However the chassis is fully functional without its' outer shell. Body components shield occupants, drive train and cargo from debris and the elements.
The Bruiser Chassis can be acquired in three major forms. A Base Chassis only, A Roller with supporting components added and shipped with Bruiser, or a Full Turnkey. For more specific information select an image below.
